SOVEREIGN Playing Cards. Elegance that measures up to the European royalty

After the resounding success of Luminosity, Jody Eklund (Black Ink Playing Cards) shows his great versatility as a designer in his new campaign: SOVEREIGN.

Classically inspired, these decks combine a refined design style full of details and profusely decorated with casual, colorful and emotion-filled illustrations.

Two editions have been created with a change of color, blue and red, in the tuck case and the back.

The tuck cases are works of art with gold foil and embossing in an elaborate composition full of elegance. They will be made by Gambler’s Warehouse who will also take care of the fulfillment.

The backs also have an enormous graphic elaboration, with symmetrical compositions enhanced with metallic inks.

The court cards show characters from the European aristocracy and royalty between the 15th and 18th centuries, from Henry VIII to Marie Antoinette, different times when power, palace intrigues and dynasties marked the course of history.

The rampant lion that decorates the tuck cases and the back also appears in the ace of spades and in the colored backgrounds of the numbered cards.

The decks will be printed by the USPCC on a limited print run. In addition, a special edition of gilded decks, numbered and limited to 200 sets, is offered in the campaign.

Luxurious cases for two and twelve decks, with two foils, can be included as add-ons.
