SUCCULENTS Playing Cards. A deck that do not require any watering

SUCCULENT (noun): a plant such as a cactus in which the leaves and stem are thick and can store a lot of water

Penguin Magic goes on releasing interesting cards with different inspiration to delight magicians, players and collectors. Their new deck is SUCCULENTS.

This deck is inspired by the vegetable kingdom and dedicated to those who take care of Nature. Having this in mind, I want to share with you some important instructions I have received directly from Penguin to be sure you really enjoy these cards:

  • Give them enough light. Succulents do not like the dark, so take them out of the box often!
  • Shuffle regularly! Your Succulents do not like to be in the same spot all the time.
  • Never water! These Succulents are beautiful, but they do not require any watering.
  • Keep them clean. Always handle your Succulents with clean hands.
  • Avoid pests. Keep your Succulents in a protective clip or case to prevent damage from dogs, cats, small children, dust mites, and other infestations.

They assure you will have your deck in great shape if you follow these instructions.

The designs are made of simple lines with a monochromatic artwork in green and red to distinguish the suits. The court cards and jokers are depicted while they take care of their plants.

The clean designs of the indexes and suits and the white backgrounds keep the playability of the deck.

The large aces are decorated with beautiful natural patterns.

Linear illustrations in white and green with leaves, stems and plants decorate the back and the tuck case in a symmetrical composition.

The deck has been printed by the USPCC on its classic stock and Magic finish using vegetable-based inks and starch-based laminates on FSC certified paper sourced from sustainable forests. The deck also includes 2 gaffed cards for magical effects.

In addition to the 2500 print run of the standard edition, an ultra limited print run of 200 green gilded decks has been printed.

The standard deck will start shipping from this month and the gilded limited from April so, if you want it, you just have to ORDER IT from Penguin Magic. Take advantage because it has more than a 15% discount on the official price. In addition, you can get more items from their stock as they offer free shipping for certain purchase amounts.

Good luck!
