BICYCLE PLANCK playing cards. The smallest of the universes

After his first experience in playing cards design and production with the Magistrate decks, Jason Troiano has decided to go to the next level with a new creation: BICYCLE PLANCK.

In this new campaign Jason presents another of his favorite subjects, science, from a “tiny” perspective. The name of the deck comes from a scientific term with different meanings although all of them converge in the theories of quantum mechanics and the universe formed by the particles that compose it.

This scientific inspiration is combined with the traditional playing card scheme in a completely customized deck in which the court cards, full of symbols and hidden clues, show characters related to the world of science and astronomy with a casual touch.

The back is made with mathematical representations of the Planck constant, the Higgs boson, and the neutrino in a geometric and symmetric pattern. This design also decorates the back of the tuck case.

With standard numbered cards, aces and jokers have also been redesigned through this scientific and didactic vision.

While the Bicycle branded deck will be printed by the USPCC, a collector’s edition will also be made with a special embossed and silver foiled tuck case in a limited and hand numbered print run of 400 decks.
