CROWN JEWELS RUBY cards. The glow of blood shed in battle
Continuing with the Crown Jewels series, SVI Group has just launched the third deck: RUBY PIGEON BLOOD.
Together with the emerald, sapphire and diamond, the ruby is part of that select group of so-called precious gems. Its intense red color, thanks to the concentration of metals such as iron and chromium, and its enormous hardness have turned this mineral into a stone of captivating beauty with magical properties and historically used to decorate crowns of kings and queens from around the world.
Like in previous campaigns, two different decks are offered. They share illustrations on faces with different color schemes and backs. The court cards, different in both decks, have been completely customized based on the traditional scheme but showing Eastern and Western royalty characters representing, thus, the battles between the ancient kingdoms.
Following the inspiration, tuck cases have been made with embossing and bright silver, gold and red foil.
The CLASSIC edition uses a basic color composition, in red and black, with monochromatic jokers and a geometric back.
The ART edition add gold to the color scheme and a more elaborate back.
The white backgrounds on the faces keep the playability of the deck and make it perfect for magic routines.
Like in their previous campaigns, really beautiful collector boxes are offered. Appart of a luxurious box in thick cardboard with foils and magnet closure that will contain the two decks and a commemorative coin, an impressive blue handmade glass box will be also offered.
