GHOST STORIES Playing Cards. Literature and ectoplasmic terror

After finishing the fulfillment of their first deck, Eve The untold story, the guys from FC Designs have just released their new campaign: GHOST STORIES.

The work of these young artists is characterized by detailed illustrations with careful design and well-documented inspiration. In this case, the ghost novels create the common thread of the entire deck.

Lovers of classic ghost stories such as Sleepy Hollow, The Phantom of the Opera or A Christmas Carol will find in the court cards a wonderful literary parade illustrated by Juanfran Moyano. The ghostly representations of the most emblematic characters from the pen of Shakespeare, Dickens, Oscar Wilde or Ghoete, create that disturbing atmosphere that freezes your breath.

The portraits of these great writers watch us from the darkness of the backgrounds in the aces.

The back keeps the traditional symmetrical structure with a disturbing image inside an ornate frame.

The numbered cards have also been customized, and their backgrounds hide sinister faces taken from old photographs.

The joker depicts Carnacki, one of the first ghostbusters from William Hope Hodgson’s novel.

The tuck case has a careful design that will be embellished with embossed and foiled areas.

The deck will be printed by the USPCC with their high quality finish and some stretch goals will allow it to be enhanced with gilded cards, metallic inks and holographic effects on the tuck case.

A completely custom deck, that you can also get with a very reasonable shipping cost (free to the United States) and EU friendly fulfillment, which will please the pockets of many backers.

If you like it, visit the project website and raise your pledge.

Good luck!
