ALEXANDRE DUMAS’ Playing Cards. The Count of Monte Cristo and The Three Musketeers meet in a new adventure by Bona Fide Playing Cards

I always enjoy when classic literature and card design join together, but I do it even more if the design comes from good and talented friends. This is the case of the latest creation by Karin Yan (Bona Fide Playing Cards) that, after the success of their Nouveau series, launches two decks inspired by two classics of Alexandre Dumas: The Count of Monte Cristo and The Three Musketeers.

Both decks depict illustrations of the characters of these exciting novels full of emotion and adventures. Despite being inspired by different books, the designs share the same style, in which the details and references to their respective histories have been taken care of. The back and the tuck case are reminiscent of bookbinding from the nineteenth-century, with ornate elements that contrast with the cleanness of the numbered cards, making these decks not only collection items but also perfectly functional playing cards for playing and manipulation.

Expert Playing Cards Company will be in charge of a limited print-run of these decks with their Master finish. If the campaign reaches funding enough, additional features such as the embossing for tuck cases will be unlocked.

Furthermore, you have the opportunity to obtain, only during the campaign, one of the exclusive ROYAL editions, with luxurious tuck cases with foil, embossing, debossing, custom seal and numbered, limited to 40 units of each deck. In addition they will be accompanied by a metal engraved card shaped bookmark and an index card with the names of the court characters. Masterpieces within reach of a few.
